Cal Expo and the City and County of Sacramento July 4, 2014 Cal Expo will again put on the largest display of fireworks beginning at 9:30 p.m…gates open at 6:00 p.m. Free admission, $10 parking fee. You are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
Spirit of Freedom Parade will once again start Fulton Ave ending at Howe Park. There will be booths, FREE food and family activities. Parade starts at 10 am.
July 4th begins in Carmichael with Breakfast at Carmichael Park Clubhouse (5750 Grant Ave.) from 7 am-11 am. Parade starts are 10:30 am starting at Marconi/Fair Oaks down Fair Oaks Blvd to Cypress and Manzanita, come for the fun and food. Fireworks show at La Sierra Community Center (5325 Engle Rd.) begins at 7 p.m. and the fireworks at around 9:30 pm
Elk Grove Fireworks
Salute to Red, White & Blue at Elk Grove Regional Park on July 4th at 9:30 pm for fireworks is a favorite all day event with food, games, vendors and just plain fun. Gates open at 7 a.m. with entertainment starting at 3 pm. Admission is FREE, parking is $10 per vehicle. Check out all the festivities in Elk Grove before the fireworks by clicking on the link.
Gates at Folsom Lions City Park open at 6 pm. Fireworks at Folsom Pro Rodeo Arena nightly from July 4, 5 & 6th at 9:30 pm.
July 4th at Hagan Park begins with carnival rides, concerts, BMX show, festival food, free activities, booths, great Beer Garden and then the fireworks! 5K run starts at 9 am, Parade starts at 10 am and then stay for all the fun at Hagan Park. Fireworks show is along the American River at Hagan Park.
El Dorado County Fireworks
El Dorado Hills will celebrate with fireworks on July 3rd from 6 pm till 11:00 pm with the 5th Annual Fireworks Jubilee at Town Center.
South Lake Tahoe will celebrate Independence on the Lights on the Lake July 4th at 9:45 pm bring a picnic, meet your neighbors and claim your spot on the beach. South Shore’s 4th of July pyrotechnics has been recognized as one of the top 5 displays in the nation
Tahoe City’s July 4th Celebration begins at 9:30 pm at Commons Beach
PLACER COUNTY Fireworks
Auburn Gold Country Fairgrounds appears to have fireworks this year. Bring your own chairs and a picnic and join Little Miss and Little Mr Firecracker. All day event starting with pancake breakfast at Bootleggers parking lot at 7 am with fireworks at 9:40 pm Auburn Gold Country Fairgrounds at 1273 High Street.
Lincoln celebrates July 4th starting with parade at 9:00 am and fireworks at McBean Park at 9:30 p.m.
Start off your July 4th celebration in Downtown Historic Roseville with an early morning 10:00 a.m. parade that ends at Royer Park for loads of fun, food and games from 11:00-2:00 p.m. Then high tail on over to Placer County Fairgrounds for the 9:30 pm July 4th Fireworks show.
Yolo County Fireworks
Davis will celebrate with a party at the Community Park (F Street) with free swimming, vendor and entertainment will be present with fireworks kick off at 9:00 p.m.
West Sacramento Fireworks
July 4th fun at Raley Field starts at 6:00 pm with local food trucks, games and inflatables on the field with live music from Nunchuck Taylor. Then it’s sit on your blanket time to watch a the fireworks synced to patriotic music. Get your tickets ahead…they sold out last year. $5 for kids under 12, $10 for 12+
