Tip: This month, the County Assessors office will be lowering Property taxes for those whose home value has decreased. It is important to contact the tax assessor to obtain this reduction in your taxes. It will not be done automatically. Home Sales for Yolo County in August 2007

This bar graph represents the Sold homes in Yolo County from October 2006 through August 2007.

The key factor here is the amount of Homes that were For sale in August 2007 (916 Homes) and the Homes Sold (98 Homes Sold).

In my opinion if you dont have to sell than you should not be on the market. There are way too many homes for sale at this time. With added homes on the market it will only drive the price down further. The old supply demand theory.

I had to wait until the month of February was over before I could give you all the home sales for each one of the Cities/Communities in Yolo County that I help Buyers and Sellers with. You knew that!

There were 743 homes for sale in all of Yolo County for the month of February. The numbers that I am supplying are only single family residences. This does not include duplexes, 4-plexes, land, commercial etc. The average cost in all of Yolo County for a home that was listed for sale was $517,102 with an average of 1963 square feet.

For the entire County of Yolo, there were 95 Homes actively For Sale by the end of December that had not sold with an average of 1991 square feet of living space and on an average were priced at $475,143.
