Quite the savings and now they are proud homeowners. There are some terrific real estate buys with these foreclosure homes. This is the best part of my job as a Realtor in Elk Grove, CA…giving the keys and seeing the happy faces of new homeowners. What a great job!

Sacramento Condo Buyer for Sac State

Do you have a student attending college, perhaps Sacramento State Unversity? Well I have a condo buyer from the Bay Area that is buying a condo for their son who is attending Sac State. Wise parents. With so many bank owned REO properties for sale, there are excellent deals to be had.
I remember showing the very same condo complex to other parents who had students attending Sac State last year. Prices were $100,000 more last year than this year. The current condo buyers that I am working with now, know they are getting not only the best looking condo in the complex but they are paying $100,000 less this year than the very same condo was listed last year as a Short Sale.
Certainly beats paying rent and remember the tax credit. Such a deal! These lucky condo buyers will be moving their son into his new condo next week.

Sacramento Home Buyer Finally Gets His House

Sacramento Home Buyer Finally Gets House from Gena Riede on Vimeo.
Giving a home buyer their keys to their new home is the BEST part of real estate not just for the home buyer but for the Realtor, too. I love seeing the happy smiles and their eyes light up when the home buyer now becomes the homeowner.
This day was no exception. The Sacramento home buyer was buying a home on the border of Curtis Park in Sacramento which was built in 1920 and was bank owned. The bank waited until two weeks before closing to send the ratified contract and lost the addendum with the price reduction. It was like pulling teeth to get this home buyer his foreclosed home. We both wondered if it would ever close and be his.
But, it ended well. The Sacramento home buyer got the house by Curtis Park and he will begin the process of renovating his new home. I can’t wait to see it when he gets this wonderful old home renovated. It will be spectacular. All is well in Sacramento.

Sacramento Realtor Talks About First Time Home Buyer

Sacramento Real Estate Voice was on the road again talking about First Time Home Buyer looking for bank owned foreclosure home. Gena has noticed some banks are asking buyers to pay half of the closing costs while not giving the home buyer or investor a choice of Title companies.
Banks are walking down a one street…their way or the highway. I guess the banks enjoy owning property.
