  1. Jill says

Are any of these places near the UC Davis MIND Institute? I don’t know the area. I will be visiting on the 4th. Thanks.

  2. Gena Riede says

No, Old Sac hasn’t had July 4th Fireworks for about 5 years. Many people think it’s Old Sac but it’s fireworks from the River Cat’s Game that they see.

The River Cats will be playing at home on July 3rd and will have fireworks at the end of the game.

  3. Terri Levenfeld says

The mind institute is actually in Sacramento at the med center campus so cal expo might be better for the visitor

  4. Gena Riede says

Not that I’m aware of. There might be some small neighborhood celebrations. If you find out anything let me know and I’ll be sure to post it here for everyone else. Thanks for popping into Sacramento Real Estate Voice

  5. Rob Heydon says

Great info. Anyone thinking the “smaller” events are lame think again. We went to the Carmichael (La Sierra) display last year and it was awesome. Have fun. By the way, I am a Brit!!!

  6. Gena Riede says

Rob, thanks for the heads-up. This should help anyone that’s on the fence about where to go. Appreciate your comment.

We went to the fireworks and festivities in Lincoln for the first time last year and it was great! They have a fun Kids Zone, swimming pool for a fee…we had a large group and spent the afternoon an devening there, everyone had a grat time, we are def. going back again this year! Well worth the short drive!

  8. Gena Riede says

Sounds like a winner to me. If you happen to find out the time etc. come back and share it here for everyone. Ok?

  10. Gena Riede says

James, fireworks of ANY kind are illegal in West Sac. even the safe sane kind. The only place I know of in West Sacramento was Raley Field after the game, yesterday. Sorry. You’ll need to drive over the Tower Bridge to Sacramento for fireworks. Happy 4th!

  11. Gena Riede says

I don’t think so but if you find out anything different come on back and let us all know. Thanks for popping in at Sacramento Real Estate Voice.

  12. Ron says
