On November 27 is the 15th Annual Run or Walk to feed the hungry. Registration is at 7:30 am and the race begins at 9:00 am Downtown on J Street in Sacramento near the CSUS entrance.
Folsom will be hosting the 2nd Turkey Trot Run to benefit Folsom’s Food bank. Race will start on North Parkway going through bike trails.
If you don’t want to cook, I highly recommend Lucille’s Smokehouse BarBQue in Rocklin. They have take out as well as eating right there. Cost of a Whole Turkey to go is $49.95. They are located in the Blue Oaks Town Center 6628 Lonetree Blvd. Rocklin, CA. You can even put your order in on-line.
