Sacramento is a great place to live with plenty of Asparagus Festival

fun things to do in and around the Sacramento areas.

Many are new comers to the Sacramento region and recently relocated to our area.

In fact, one of my new home buyers that I spoke to last night has moved here from Colorado so here are a few fun places to go this weekend for all those who have are relocating to the surrounding Sacramento areas.

With fabulous weather this weekend in the 80s, the place not to miss is the annual Stockton Asparagus Festival. Whether you like asparagus or not, dont miss this great fun event. It starts today,

Friday, April 25, 2007 from 10:00 am-7 pm

Saturday, April 26, 10 am-7 pm

Sunday, April 27, 2007 10am-7 pm

Tons to do, see, hear and taste. If youve never been, you should plan on it this weekend. Learn about how asparagus grows and how much land it takes to grow this wonderful vegetable. It is a plant that we may see in extension since many growers are surrendering their land to grow corn.

Garden El Dorado County is holding the Spring Home and Garden Show today, April 25, 2007 from noon till 8 pm

through April 27^th from 10 am until 5:00 pm at the Fairgrounds. This is a great place to go and pick-up some spectacular redecorating tips for your home as well as learning how to make the outside of your house be more inviting and fun. Check out the Spring Home and Garden Show off Hwy 50, exit Placerville Dr.

Its fun to learn new things to make your home sparkle and shine.
