Sacramento, before your head hits the pillow on Saturday night, set your clocks ahead one hour.
Some think they lose an hour and others just go to be earlier or stay in bed longer.
Springing ahead, makes me think positive. And gosh knows we need a little positive these days, dont you think?
Oops, replace those batteries in your smoke detectors!!
I actually have daffodils that think its Spring. The trees are blossoming and the warmer weather is here.
This means, home buyers are out looking at real estate. The home buyers are looking at your home for sale on the Internet and comparing prices in the neighborhoods.
The home buyers are calling me so prepare and make sure that your home is the best that it can be. Home buyers today want a good deal, most dont want to fix things, they want to move-in and have everything working and looking nice.

If your paint is chipping on the wood trim, scrap it and paint it. The new home buyer can see paint chipping. Your fooling anyone. Take a real good look at your house. The home buyer is.
Are the windows clean? Is the front door clean? Is the porch swept? Does your house for sale say, welcome, come right in?
Homes are selling. The banks have finally gotten the message move those houses. The investor is back. The Sacramento County area is experiencing multiple offers on home foreclosures which helps get rid of real estate inventory. This is good news for home owners and home sellers who are not in foreclosure, some hope that change is on its way.
Think positive, do positive actions to help sell your house and of course be competitive in price if you really want to sell.
Positive thinking equals positive results. Lets all SPRING FORWARD on Saturday night and SPRING FORWARD with positive THINKING.
Heres a bit of positive news for both home buyers and sellers. FHA has locally increased loan amounts to $580,000. This amount applies to Sacramento County, Placer County and El Dorado County (for those who were wondering).
Since California housing prices are considerably more than some states, this increase will help home buyers in our area. Remember, the higher your FICO score the better terms on the loan. Paying your bills on time will save you money in the long run. Be sure to read Sacramento Home Buyer Asks About Credit Score, to find out if credit score and FICO is important and how it effects you.
