Over the many years of selling homes, condos and investment property I have had many phone calls from perspective home buyers. There are those who know that it is essential to have spoken with a reputable Lender prior to looking at homes, condos, land and investment properties.
Many of the phone calls I receive go something like this…
” I just want to see the house.” I would love to show you the house or the condo or the land or the investment property. However, if you can’t qualify for a loan for that particular property, then what happens is that you, the home buyer get your hopes up only to be dashed when you find out that you don’t qualify.
Now, on the other hand, the seller has stopped what they doing and prepared their home, condo or given proper notification to tenants to vacate so that you can view their property only to find out that you are not qualified to purchase their property.
So, it’s not that I don’t want to show you the house, condo or investment property…it’s just that I have respect for those sellers not to waste their time showing their home, condo or investment property unless and until the buyer is pre-qualified with a reputable lender. It serves your best interest and the sellers.
I welcome your phone call and I will be happy to give you the names and phone numbers of reputable Lenders that can get you qualified and in the best loan program. It costs nothing to get qualified and yet it is peace of mind to you, As a future home buyer you need to know what type of payment to expect for each price range and then once you are qualified start your home search.
Don’t put the cart before the horse…do it the right way and get qualified first.
A=A Reputable Lender, get qualified, know what you can afford before searching for a house
B= Be diligent in searching for a Reputable Realtor, who will work with you to find just what you can afford (you can always call and I’ll be happy to refer you to 3 excellent reputable Lenders BEFORE we start your search for your new home.)
C= Communicate with your Realtor so that we can find the house, condo, investment property or land that meets your specific requirements.
Do yourself a favor and follow the A, B,C’s of home buying…you’ll be glad you did.
Getting qualified is the very 1st step toward responsible home buying for ALL home buyers.
Have the Lender explain the loan until you understand it. Not all loan programs fit all people. Don’t just look at the interest rate, look at the total loan package and you will be better served. Ask questions if you don’t understand. You won’t be the first that hasn’t understood and you won’t be the last.
I look forward to working with you and if you need any referrals, please don’t hesitate to contact me at 916-417-2699.

Gena,
It is good to see Sacramento’s real estate blog back in business and look forward to the rest of your real estate commentary, statistics and photos going back online.
A pox on the house of hackers.
Thanks also for your strong voice against vicious hackers who would do such a thing to so many innocent people.
The Sacramento real estate market is fortunate to have such a talented writer such as you!
Great trick for remembering what needs to be done first!
I like the ABCs listed. A great way to go about remembering things!

Thank you. It’s good to be back. A few fixes and I’ll be good to go!
Maggie,
You are most welcome. It has been quite an ordeal. You may notice quite a few things not working and many that you will need to tweak.
But, it is good to be up and working even if it’s on crutches.
Thank you.
Virginia,
Thank you, it’s good to be back. I appreciate your warm welcome.
Paula,
Thank you. It’s been quite an ordeal for all of us. Yes, my clients have not been able to read nor look for homes for sale.
I’m glad to be back up and running. A few items are still not working but all in due time.
Missy,
Thank you for your warm welcome.
