Granite Bay is an up-scale affluent area that originally was part of Roseville but wished to distinguish themselves. And they have.
As you drive through Granite Bay you cant help but be impressed with granite outcroppings that lend itself to the beauty and pride of the area. This area consists of many custom homes ranging in prices.
There are several distinguishing areas within Granite Bay with a variety of gated communities what we call friendly and secure gates. Meaning, that there are areas that have open access during the day for guests and service trucks and those that are more restrictive that have security with guards who make note of licenses and ask the purpose of the visit as well as verifying with the homeowner.
Granite Bay is located East of Hwy 80, east of Roseville, close in proximity to Folsom Lake which is another asset that this community has to offer since there is an array of outdoor activity right at your fingertips on and around Folsom Lake. Riding trails are prominent in this area as many have horses either on their property or board them close by.
School scores are quite high in the Eureka Elementary School District which is sought after
along with Granite Bay High School. On the outskirts some students attend Loomis Elementary School District and feed into the Placer High School District.
If golf is your thing, this is a great place for it. The Granite Bay Club is a private 18“hole Golf course which is also offering etiquette classes for children.
An excellent 9“hole course is Rolling Greens Golf Course a public course as well as many great golf courses in the neighboring area of Loomis, Roseville, Lincoln and Auburn.
One of my favorite areas in Granite Bay is the Wexford Estates a secure gated community
that offers a friendly neighborhood area with plenty of traditions and ways to get to know your neighbor. The home to the right is quite lovely with the circular drive and the views inside the home are even better with 180 degree views all the way to Folsom Lake.
The home to the left with views of Swan Lake and the sunrise over the lake has 4 Bedrooms, 3 baths, 3069 square feet of living space was built in 1999. A very affordable home just minutes from Roseville and Folsom Lake.
Interested in a home that is one of a kind on 1.0 acres and built in 2005 with 5 Bedrooms, 7 baths and 6150 square feet of living space?
Lots of room and certainly one-of-a-kind here in Granite Bay.
Some of the areas to make note of when deciding where you would like to live are:
Other noted community areas in Granite Bay to consider are: Bella Terra, Country Oaks, Douglas Ranch, Folsom Lake Estates, Greyhawk, Grosvenor Downs, Hidden Lakes, Hillsborough, Princeton Reach, Quail Oaks, Shelbourne Estates, Silver Oaks, Silverwood, Stanton Estate, Treelake Village, Westlake, Winterhawk and Woodchase.
