Why choose Remax? Very good question! As a seller, your main goal is to sell. In the fast moving Real Estate Market, putting a sign in the front yard is about all that was necessary.
But, Real Estate has changed. Now, you need to be cognizant of what it takes in order to sell a home. First, an experienced Realtor in any Real Estate agency is a number one goal that you should be considering. There are so many aspects to know and avoid that an experienced Realtor will be aware of in order to protect your best interests. And there are good Realtors in many agencies.
Secondly, since signs in the front yard are no longer bringing multiple offers, or helping to sell, it’s time to think of the next few steps that are vital to actually selling the property…advertising. Since most home buyers come from the web, not the newspaper, not those little give away magazines that are free at the grocery store…but the WEB.
Advertising is the job of the Listing Realtor who a seller hires. Does the Realtor have good presence on the web? Can you Google their name and it actually brings up many pages of information about that Realtor, their website, their company website, their national website, their blog plus more web sites?
If it doesn’t and they dont, then why in the world would you think that you would get a good presence on the web with that Realtor? It’s key to have a Realtor that has excellent web presence!
Now, another aspect to this whole picture … is the Real Estate agency nationwide, world wide? Or is the Real Estate agency simply in your home town? Not to say, the property won’t sell however, many home buyers come from all over the world and if your Real Estate Realtor has a world wide presence with world wide websites that advertise your house, the odds are in your favor of selling in the quickest amount time for the most amount of money.
It’s a numbers game and should be part of your consideration when hiring a Realtor to list your house for sale. Recently, when attending a Remax meeting the following information was shared:
Is it any wonder why I choose to be associated with the best? It’s a great company; stats prove that Remax is good for the home buyer, the seller and the Realtor. I love Remax and I wish each of you a happy holiday and a splendid 2007 New Year!

Well, all that’s very true. REMAX is a great company. My company is still number one on [You Name It Search Engine] for lots of local keywords, however, meaning for you as an agent that you definitely get more leads from your broker (and more opportunities to help you dominate the Metrolist area internet market) if you come work for me.
I could use some top achievers like you who do such an outstanding job of promoting yourself and your company.
Oh, sorry, did I recruit you out loud when you were making Tim Yee look good?
Thanks John for the compliment and the offer to come work with you. I know that you use to work for Remax at one time and I’m sure that you can understand my reasons for staying with such a great company. As far as leads are concerned, I never rely on someone to feed me leads. As a Broker, I personally feel that it is important to stay with a brand especially now more than ever but once again…thanks for the job offer…hope this year brings many transactions for you and perhaps we can work on one together! Thanks for stopping by.
Well, thanks for the response and the kind words. I’m sure I’ll see you around once this Internet fad passes.
Very nice writing. I couldn’t have wrote better myself. This is a very nice website.
