Over the past few years, 911 has received some very strange phone calls I didnt receive the right hamburger with my order at Carls Junior, My cat is missing, Should I use my umbrella tomorrow? I know, its hard to believe that these phone calls are real. Im not making this up. 911 operators have been complaining of this for a long time and its unfortunately taking up time from those that actually have a serious emergency.
So, next year, a new number will go into effect 311 to alleviate some of these ridiculous phone calls. My question is, are these same people going to be able to remember to call 311 instead of 911?
Did you know that the Sacramento City Council is considering bringing back the street car to Downtown Sacramento? Since street cars are shorter and narrower than light-rail vehicles mix easily with the traffic on street.
Everything old again is new again! This could be a De Ja Vu for many Sacramentans. As I am writing this blog it seems that the Sacramento City Council has just unanimously approved the development of the railyards with the move of that huge building…does this mean that they have scaped the street car?
